American Idol Top 3: Michael Lynche, Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox

The guy who was saved by the judges five weeks ago had to go home after public rejected him, once again. Michael Lynche sang Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There” on Tuesday night that was a movie-themed night but Lynche could not perform well and judges and viewers were not happy with him. The 26-year-old Lynche is also known as Big Mike and is a native of St. Petersburg, Fla. Now, there are only three contestants left on the show. The contestants are Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and Lee DeWyze.

Recalling his time there, Lynche said that it was a marvelous experience for him. He admitted that he did not deserve to be there on stage for so long and actually it was the judges who saved him from elimination five weeks ago and let him perform on stage for some more weeks. He thinks of himself a lucky person who had a chance to perform for people and especially for his wife who loved him so much.

Earlier, it was thought that Casey James would go home but he was the first person who was proclaimed safe by Seacrest. The next man was Lee DeWyze. Now, there were only two people left Crystal Bowersox and Mike Lynche. Then, after a pause, the final result was called out and judges announced that Crystal Bowersox was saved from elimination. According to Seacrest, they had found some 37 million votes from fans and it was a record of the season.
