Justin Rose

On Sunday, the 6th of June 2010, the final round of 66 helped Justin Rose to win the Memorial Tournament in Ohio with a three stroke lead over Ricky Fowler. Rose finished the competition with a cumulative score of minus 18. He has signed his first victory on the PGA Tour. At first, Fowler led the first three rounds but later his performance started to decline and he finished the tournament with a disappointing 73. Phil Mickelson finished at 11, tied for fifth. Tiger Woods played the normal game and got ranked on the 19th place with a total score of 282 and six strokes under par.

At the Muirfield Village golf club in Dublin, the twenty nine year old golfer Justin Rose followed Rickie Fowler for four strokes to gain access to the final round. Justin Rose enjoys the 66th rank in the international golf rankings. Rose finished eighteen under par in the tournament. He also won a prize of 1.08 million US dollars. The Memorial tournament featured his 162nd appearance on the PGA Tour. In an interview Justin Rose stated that he worked very hard for the game and he was pleased to see his hard work bringing fruitful results.

The Memorial Tournament was the first event of the champion Tiger Woods after his neck problem. He remained absent from the game for three weeks. Woods landed at the 19th spot with six under par. The PGA Tour plans to move to Tennessee for the St. Jude Classic from the 10th to the 13th of June 2010.
