Michael Lynche performed song from movie “Free Willy”

Another exciting and entertaining season of “American Idol” is heading towards its end. The top 4 contestants Crystal Bowersox, Casey James, Lee Dewyze and Michael Lynche tried their ever best to impress judges on the show. However, one has to pack the bags and say goodbye as per the format of the show. Bowersox, Dewyze, Lynche and James were asked to perform songs from the Hollywood movies such as “Caddyshack” and “Free Willy” on Tuesday night. Lynche performed the song “Will You Be There” from the 1993 movies “Free Willy.” Sadly, Lynche found himself at the bottom two with Crystal Bowersox. The top 3 contestants for this year’s American Idol are Casey James, Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox. Michael Lynche aka Big Mike eliminated from the show on Wednesday May 12, 2010.

Pop sensation Michael Jackson produced and performed “Will You Be There,” for the film and the song won the MTV Movie Award for “Best Song in a Movie” in 1994. However, Big Mike’s journey on the reality show ended and now it’s up to the Top 3 contestants to perform their best to win “American Idol.” Critics and viewers have shown mix response to Mike’s elimination from the show. Let’s see who will be going to win this year’s competition out of the Top 3 contestants.
