The young golfer is twenty one years old. Fowler showed a cumulative score of minus-13 after two rounds, tying a tournament record by Scott Hoch. Fowler tied the “thirty six-hole” record that was established by Hoch in the year 1987. He scored three birdies and reached thirteen under 131. Fowler is among the early starters at Muirfield Village golf course.

Rickie Fowler said that the game in which he tied the record was the best game of his playing career. Furthermore Fowler added that the game was really satisfying for him and the game actually “felt good”. Rickie Fowler maintained a lead of four shots over Tim Petrovic who also had a ‘sixty six’.

Tiger Woods is likely to stick with the game for this weekend. Tied to normal, after his first appearance on the golf course of Muirfield Village, Tiger Woods shot a 69 on Friday. He came into the cottage in a tie for the 23rd place, a jump of 26 places compared to the previous day.

Woods scored three birdies on four par 5 holes. Woods stated that the day proved good for him as he pulled more good shots than his previous day on the golf course. In addition he said that his game has started to pick momentum as his good shots were increasing in an orderly manner.
