American television and film actress Michelle Christine Trachtenberg was born October 11, 1985. She appeared in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s final three seasons. After that she appeared as Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl. In 2009 she appeared in NBC television drama Mercy.
She was born in New York City and raised in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. Trachtenberg attended P.S. 99 Elementary School and later joined Notre Dame High School.
At the age of three she began her career and featured in more than 100 commercials. From 1994 till 1996 she appeared in her first credited role in The Adventures of Pete & Pete as Nona F. Mecklenberg.
She played Lily Montgomery in All My Children. In All My Children, she starred with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
In 1996, she began her film career and played lead role in Harriet the Spy. In the same year she won Young Artist Award for her role in Meego. From 2001 to 2003, she hosted Truth or Scare. In the HBO series Six Feet Under, she played the role of Celeste.
Trachtenberg played the role of Casey Carlyle in the family comedy–drama Ice Princess. Trachtenberg appeared as Georgina Sparks on The CW hit show Gossip Girl. In the comedy film Cop Out young and sexy, television and film actress performed a small role.
